Rylan had been hounding us all winter to take him skiing. We decided that spring skiing (warmer weather) would be the best for a first-timer, so we waited until April to take him up. After all the talk and anticipation for this moment, he was ecstatic when Bryon told him they were going skiing for the day at Mt. Spokane. Now, we just had to cross our fingers and hope that his first trip up would be a success and that he would love it as much as we do.
Sure enough, our boy was a natural and he loved every minute of it!
Bryon held Rylan between his legs and guided Ry down the mountain until he got the hang of it. After awhile, Ry could ski all by himself!
He even rode the chair lift up and wasn't even scared!
Rylan ran into his little buddy, Rowen, on the mountain. It was his second time up and Rylan sure enjoyed skiing with him.Way to go Rylan! We are so proud of you! Looking forward to many family ski trips in the years to come!
