Fun at the Lake Cont'd

Unfortunately, we didn't get to spend as much time out at the lake this summer as we would have liked, but we sure had fun while we were there. Here are some more pictures of the fun adventures we had there this summer.

The water was a little bit too cold to take Ayla swimming, but she sure enjoyed dipping her feet in.

We took Ayla on her first hike. She must have liked it cuz we didn't hear a peep out of her the entire time. Rylan is the best little hiker. We hiked quite a ways and up some really steep terrain. He made it the whole way without even complaining.

Ayla loves to be outside. We look forward to many more hikes as a family.

Ayla experienced her first boat ride, and she slept during most of it.

We went on several boat rides this summer. Rylan likes to sit in the bow of the boat. Of course, he had to bring his bear and bug along for the ride.

Our friends, Rachel and Tyson and their two girls, joined us for a weekend at the lake in August. Their girls are about the same ages as Ry and Ayla, so we had a fun time hanging out with their family.

We all had a great time cruising the lake,

floating on air mattresses,

and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire.
